E300CD magazine appearance
Three Pointed Parts' own E300CD converted w124 coupe has appeared in Mercedes enthusiast magazine, the June 2011 edition.

This is a rather special w124 coupe, one of the last on a 1996 year, now fitted with an OM606 multivalve diesel engine. I decided to create this as the 124 coupe is one of the best looking Merc's to date, but the most economical version will barely top 30mpg and it will only do that if driven sensibly. This engine is the most desirable available in the 124 range, the most coveted estates are multivalve diesels, Mercedes never made diesel an option anywhere in the world on the 124 (the did on the w123 series for LHD markets) so with this conversion you can now enjoy the charms of the 124 coupe with much better fuel economy. The conversion was done entirely using standard Mercedes parts, so reliability will rival that of its saloon and estate counterparts. I now have 2 of these diesel coupes (having previously converted one to an old 12v diesel engine.) So this one is now for sale, for any more details please get in touch. In the meantime, grab a copy of the magazine and read the artical!
